A matching set of four bamboo dining chairs, made by British firm, Angraves Of Leicester.

Taking inspiration from the Chippendale designs of the 18th century & the later regency period this superb mid 20th century dining chair set would add quality, style & design to any interior space across the home.

Angraves was founded in 1912 by George Angrave and his brother, Robert Angrave, in Thurmaston, Leicester.

In the 1950's, the company was taken over by Robert's son, Robert Ronald Angrave, who developed the business throughout the 1960's and 1970's. The Brook Street firm supplied furniture to both small independent stores and major high street names.

Angraves was the last cane and bamboo furniture manufacturer in the country and had held that position for some years until the company sadly closed its doors for the final time in 2011.
