G Plan Quadrille Teak Nest Of Tables Mid Century Vintage Retro MCM

A nest of three 'Quadrille' G Plan range coffee tables, designed in 1967 by Roger Bennett & made by E Gomme Ltd of High Wycombe.

Each nesting table has a rectangular top and a stretcher across the back. The tables are made in teak and afromosia.

G Plan was a key player in mid century furniture design and production. Initially created in 1898 by E Gomme it wasn’t until 1952 when Grandson and designer Donald Gomme created a furniture range for the masses that evolved the company into the G Plan that we know and love today. The company were pioneers of modular furniture and understanding every buyer's unique needs. In the 1960s the rising popularity of Scandinavian design created healthy competition for G Plan and their solution was to hire Ib Kofod Larsen a Danish designer known for clean lines and comfortable materials.
