Four Brass Pink Cane Rattan Marcel Breuer Cesca Dining Chairs Mid Century Vintage Retro MCM

A matching set of four Marcel Breuer Cesca dining chairs with their original cane backrests, pink velvet upholstered seats and brass frames.

Two are carvers with arms and two are armless.

The newly upholstered seats can easily be changed for new fabric, as the bases pop out easily.

These vintage Cesca dining chairs were designed by Marcel Breuer for Thonet in the 1920s as part of the Bauhaus movement, and these were produced in the later part of the 20th century.

Known for their timeless blend of natural cane, wood, and tubular cantilever steel, these chairs are a classic example of Bauhaus design, emphasising simplicity and functionality.
