English Oak Glass Fronted Tall Cabinet/Bookcase Globe Wernicke Style Mid Century Vintage Retro MCM

Built in the early 20th century between 1910 to 1930 from golden English oak, these beautiful and statement pieces of furniture feature five glass-fronted compartments, each with a smooth lift-and-slide back door mechanism, designed to protect and display valuable items, books or shoe storage.

Each piece is raised on solid oak square tapered legs with an intricately carved foot. The brass door pull knobs have been wonderfully tarnished with age and wear.

Similar to Globe Wernicke in style, but these are fixed which cannot be added to or changed.

All drawers have an internal of 87.5cm and a depth of 24cm. Heights go from top small to larger at the bottom.
