Pair Of English Oak Glass Fronted Tall Cabinets/Bookcases Globe Wernicke Style Mid Century Vintage Retro MCM

Built in the early 20th century between 1910 to 1930 from golden English oak and made by Kenrick & Jefferson Ltd in Birmingham.

These beautiful and statement pieces of furniture feature four glass-fronted compartments, each with a smooth lift-and-slide back door mechanism, designed to protect and display valuable items, books or shoe storage.

Each piece is raised on solid oak square tapered leg. The brass door pull knobs have been wonderfully tarnished with age and wear.

Similar to Globe Wernicke in style, but these are fixed which cannot be added to or changed.

All drawers have an internal width of 66.5cm and a depth of 23.5cm. Internal height of the spaces is 20cm.

Whilst they are free standing, they would benefit from being fixed to the wall so they are secure.
