A striking Ligne Roset Ruché three seater sofa and matching armchair, designed by Inga Sempé. Upholstered in a beautifully quilted cobalt high quality blue leather over contrasting vivid red timber frames, this exceptional set perfectly demonstrates the Ruché’s combination of architectural structure and wonderfully relaxed, sculptural upholstery. A bold and highly recognisable piece of contemporary French design.

Designed by Inga Sempé, one of France’s most celebrated contemporary designers, Ruché was created for Ligne Roset around the beginning of the 2010s. Its name refers to the gathered or pleated effect of fabric — particularly appropriate for the distinctive quilted covering that defines the collection.

The blue leather is contrasted beautifully by the bright red lacquered frames, giving the pair an almost primary-colour, postmodern quality.

Both pieces retain their Ligne Roset manufacturer’s labels, confirming their authenticity.
