De Sede DS-101 Reclining Armchair Lounge Chair Tan Brown Leather Mid Century Vintage MCM
£695
Leather luxury brand De Sede, made this adjustable and comfortable armchair in Switzerland during the 1960s.
This luscious oversized chair has extendable seats for extra comfort, upholstered in the finest thick Cuban tan neck leather with braided leather seams on a solid wood and metal frame construction.
The De Sede DS 101 was featured in the 007 James Bond movie 'On Her Majesty’s Service' in 1969, this model ceased production in the late 1970s, but maintains its place in furniture history.
De Sede once started as a saddler's workshop in Klingnau, Switzerland. Slowly, the company widened its scope and committed itself to transforming the best possible leather into seating furniture. In 1965 the family-run business grew into a professional company, and their name was De Sede AG. De Sede products are detail-obsessed and are entirely made and focused on the people who use them. Therefore, all the De Sede items are made of the best materials, which results in durability and comfort.
