G Plan Astro Teak Nest Of Three Tables 1960s Mid Century Vintage Retro MCM

A striking set of three G Plan Astro nesting tables, manufactured in England during the 1960s.

Featuring beautifully sculpted teak frames with distinctive curved, open-sided supports, these tables are a classic example of British mid-century furniture design.

Each table features a rectangular teak top with gently rounded edges and contrasting grain detailing. The elegant U-shaped supports create an architectural, almost sculptural appearance, while the warm teak finish highlights the natural grain of the wood.

The two smaller tables slide neatly beneath the larger table, offering a practical, space-saving design without compromising on style. They can be displayed together as a nest or used individually as occasional tables.

Part of G Plan’s celebrated Astro range, these tables reflect the influence of Scandinavian modernism on British furniture design during the 1960s, combining organic forms with everyday functionality.

A versatile and increasingly sought-after example of vintage G Plan furniture, equally suited to contemporary and mid-century interiors.
