Gunn Sectional Stacking Glass Fronted Bookcase Mahogany Edwardian
Built in the early 20th century between 1910 to 1930 from solid mahogany, this beautiful and piece of furniture features four glass-fronted compartments, each with a smooth lift-and-slide back door mechanism, designed to protect and display valuable items, books or shoe storage.

The Gunn Furniture Company originated in Grand Rapids Michigan. Founded by William S Gunn, a furniture workshop was added to his hardware products in 1874. The company passed to his son, William A Gunn after his death in 1909. It became famous for desks and in the 1910s and 20s, the company began to produce these sectional bookcases.
