This award winning, original, Magistretti three seater Maralunga sofa for Cassina is finished in its original light green sage vivid pin striped dralon fabric, and is just as comfortable as it is famed to be. We believe this is an example from the late 1970s early 1980s.

Originally designed by Vico Magistretti for Cassina in 1973, the Maralunga sofa has become a true design icon, the model became one of Magistretti’s most recognized seating designs for its adjustable backrest system and soft, oversized proportions.

The collaboration with Cassina began in 1959 with the Carimate chair, which was met with great success, but this is nothing compared to the Maralunga which became a true icon of Italian design, winning the Compaso d'oro in 1979.

Complete with an authentic Cassina label and is presented in amazing vintage condition.
