In 1962 British designer Geoffrey Harcourt joined the Artifort team, and developed the luxury lounge and office chairs in the late 1960s. Manufactured by Artifort in the Netherlands. Artifort is a company specialising in the manufacture of designer furniture, founded in 1890 by Jules Wagemans in Maastricht, the Netherlands.
