Mid Century Scandinavian Sofa Bed In Olive Green Wool Vintage Retro MCM

A wonderful example of mid century modern design, this stylish vintage sofa bed, dating from around the 1960s, combines clean Scandinavian-inspired lines with clever functionality and timeless appeal.

Upholstered in its beautifully original textured olive green and mustard-toned woven wool fabric, the sofa features a generously proportioned seat, two button-detailed back cushions and distinctive sculptural arms that gently flare outwards. The warm, natural wood legs complement the rich upholstery perfectly, giving the piece an unmistakable mid century character.

The ingenious convertible design allows the sofa to transform into a comfortable single, with both arms folding down to create a generous sleeping or lounging surface

Particularly attractive is the exposed wooden removable backrest support, which becomes visible when converted into its daybed configuration, highlighting the thoughtful construction and practicality associated with furniture of this period.

An ideal statement piece for a mid-century interior, contemporary living space or guest room, offering both everyday comfort and occasional sleeping accommodation.

A beautifully designed and highly practical piece of vintage furniture, effortlessly combining 1960s style with modern-day versatility.
