This high-quality brutalist design sofa was designed by Tage Petersen in Denmark, the founder of Wendelbo, manufactured during the 1960s.

This sofa features a frame made of solid oak and a reversible seat cushion with buttons.

Complete with their ink stamps to the underneath.

The history of the family business dates back to 1955 – the year Wendelbo’s founder Tage Petersen opened a small furniture workshop on a street corner in Aarhus, Denmark. In the spirit of continuity, after the production facility moved to Vietnam, the company’s headquarters remained in Aarhus, keeping Wendelbo’s roots firmly planted in Denmark.
