Siesta Leather Lounge Chair By Ingmar Relling For Westnofa Mid Century Vintage Retro MCM

This wide ‘Siesta’ chair is designed by Ingmar Relling and produced by the Norwegian company Westnofa in the 1960s.

Relling’s take on the classic safari chair designed in 1965 is extremely casual while having an air of plush indulgence. The black leather cushion has been cleaned and treated and the rosewood frame has been sanded and oiled.

A really handsome example of the classic, Scandinavian, cantilever bentwood lounge chair.
