Kingston lounge chair by William Plunkett in cream/ivory leather on a brushed aluminium frame.

The Kingston range designed by William Plunkett was launched in 1967 and conceived as a family of seating designs sharing common components. Both modular in appearance and in the manufacture, the collection offered great flexibility to both domestic and commercial interiors.

The design was considered highly unusual and an individual design statement, but has since become an accepted and much-used typology for modular seating designs.
